NaNo?
Thanks everyone for the wonderful suggestions from my post last week! I’ll be sending to Jessica just as soon as I get through these second round edits =D
All year I had planned on doing NaNo. Back in January when I stumbled on a post about NaNo, I thought it was the coolest thing ever and couldn’t wait for November to roll around. But when November finally did roll around, I found myself with 20k left to write in my WIP and loads of editing to do.
I guess I’ll have to wait for next year to give a go at NaNo.
So, how did NaNo go for those of you who participated? Did you win?? I’m sure you’re all posting about it on your blogs this week- I’ll be sure to stop by to find out
I’ve written almost 50,000 words in the book I started this month. I know I’m not going to be finished with it by the end of the month, since I’m predicting it’ll be around 150,000-200,000 words (which is actually short for one of my non-YA books!). The most important thing was to get about a third or a fourth of it done in November.
Congrats on your WIP! It doesn’t matter that you didn’t write it in November, the point is that you did 🙂
I finished NaNo. 🙂 It was my first year and it was super fun! I’d love to do it again!
I finished and now its tucked away while I edit another wip. But first a break–this week is all about reading fun stuff.
🙂
No NaNo for me this year, but a successful PiBoIdMo! 🙂
Like you, I didn’t have much time for NaNo, but I did let it inspire me to write a ton in my current WIP. I ended up writing about 75 pages, which felt great. I’m hoping to write like that every month 🙂
