53 Books for 2013

2013 is almost to a close. This year was packed jam tight and flew by faster than I can believe. As a final post for the year, I’m going to leave the list of books that I’ve read for the year (each cover should link back to Goodreads). I’ve read such fantastic books this year! The Sea of Tranquility, The Book Thief, Unwind, Watership Down…I’ve really felt blessed by the book suggestions that have been sent my way.

What are some of your favorite reads from 2013?

I’ve read a good portion of those awesome books 🙂 Looking forward to more good reads in 2014!! Happy*New*Year!

Bill Bryson! I LOVED that book! I’ve never laughed so hard. Gone Girl kinda bugged me. I wasn’t a fan of the ending at all–just me though and Thirteen Reasons Why, brought back my faith in the YA genre. Until that book, I’d read a couple of YA that had me shaking my head and hating YA (which I write–not a good feeling to have). Great list! You read a ton!

Isn’t Bryson great?? I need to read some of his other stuff. It’s just so easy to read and his humor is fantastic. Because there’s so much YA out there right now, I definitely think it’s hit or miss, but I read a few incredible YA’s in 2013. Check out Sea of Tranquility. That one blew me out of the water!
